Update on Bradley Creek Station: COVID-19 Impacts

With Wilmington shifting into phase 2 of reopening from COVID-19, there are some changes to some properties in town, specifically Bradley Creek Station. This 80,000 square foot office and retail complex has been under construction for many months now, and is seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Bradley Creek Station Safety Improvements

In response to concerns surrounding COVID-19, SAMM Properties reached out to their contractors to set up new safety measures. They will be installing motion sensor light fixtures in the bathrooms, automatic doors for the building, and motion sensor hand sanitizing stations at all entrances. They will also be installing self cleaning door handle strips from Nano Septic.

Bradley Creek Station Opening Progress

There are currently upfits in progress for First Carolina Bank and Crabby Chic, with those expected to open around the last week of June. Upfits for Angel Oak Home Loans and Big Sky Design are soon to follow. The third floor of Bradley Creek Station is still available with 26,700 square feet of space, as well as one space on the first floor with 3,900 square feet of space.

Commercial Real Estate Changes

Property listing agent, Steve Hall, has expressed that interest and showings of the space have picked up now that things are opening up again. He has noticed that people are wanting more space for their businesses to help with social distancing guidelines. Additionally, he acknowledges that people feel safer knowing that Bradley Creek Station is being proactive and cautious in safety practices. Steve said that he feels like people are ready to get back to work and a new normal way of life.
